About
Webthinking for over fifteen years, Mircea has senior experience in virtually every web related aspect, balancing the three spheres of web strategy – business, technology and community. Known as a dynamic leader, he translates strategy into concrete action, develops and leads high performing teams and manages effectively through change and in growth environments.
A flexible, curious and hard working person, Mircea is a Senior Manager, Web Strategies at a North American-based global investment manager. He is ultimately responsible for overseeing the overall web strategy, user experience and execution of digital marketing initiatives.
Prior to his current role, Mircea spent 6 years at CIBC, focusing on development and implementation of knowledge management solutions for the card products business and helping design the digital marketing strategy for the bank’s asset management arm.
Mircea is currently pursuing his MBA at the Robert Kennedy College in Zürich, a collaborative centre of the University of Wales, focusing on strategic and international business management.
Mircea holds a BSc in Engineering and Computer Science from the University Lucian Blaga, Romania and a Professional Certificate in E-Marketing from the Canadian Marketing Association.
In addition, he is a former member of the PodCamp Toronto organizing committee, Canada’s largest gathering of members of the new media community.
